Scarborough UBF is a campus ministry community committed to sharing the gospel and making disciples among university students and young adults in the Greater Toronto Area.
Who We Are
University Bible Fellowship (UBF) is an international, interdenominational Christian organization dedicated to campus ministry. Scarborough UBF has been serving the Scarborough community since the early 2000s, focusing particularly on students at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (UTSC).
Our ministry began with a small group of believers who shared a passion for reaching university students with the gospel. Over the years, we have grown into a vibrant community of students, young professionals, and families who gather to worship God and study His word together.
We believe that every person, regardless of their background, can encounter Jesus through the Scriptures and be transformed by His grace. Our approach is simple: personal Bible study, prayer, and genuine fellowship.
Our Mission
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

In obedience to this command, Scarborough UBF is dedicated to raising disciples of Jesus among university students through one-to-one Bible study. We aim to help students discover God's love, grow in faith, and become spiritual leaders who can impact their campuses, communities, and the world for Christ.
What We Believe
The theological beliefs of Scarborough UBF are set forth as follows in this Statement of Faith. Adherence to this Statement of Faith is essential for advancing Scarborough UBF's religious purpose.
All Members, Elders, Directors, Officers, and Staff, in joining Scarborough UBF, are expected to be in full agreement with the Statement of Faith as a condition of their involvement and, more importantly, as the foundation for their abundant life promised by Jesus Christ. Furthermore, all Members, Elders, Directors, Officers, and Staff of Scarborough UBF must affirm that the Bible is the only rule of faith and conduct.
We Believe That There is one God in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We Believe That God created the heavens and the earth and all other things in the universe: that He is the Sovereign Ruler of all things; that the Sovereign God reveals Himself; we believe in his redemptive work and in his final judgment.
We Believe That The Bible is inspired by God; that it is the truth; that it is the final authority in faith and practice.
We Believe That Since the fall of Adam, all people have been under the bondage and power of sin and are deserving of the judgment and wrath of God.
We Believe That Jesus Christ, who is God and man, through his atoning, sacrificial death on the cross for our sins and his resurrection, is the only way of salvation; he alone saves us from sin and judgment and purifies us from the contamination of the world caused by sin.
We Believe That Jesus Christ rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father.
We Believe That Regeneration is by the work of the Holy Spirit, and that it is necessary if one is to enter the kingdom of God. We believe that God sent his Holy Spirit to empower his church to witness to Jesus to the ends of the earth.
We Believe That We are made righteous by grace alone, through faith alone.
We Believe That The Holy Spirit works in the heart of every believer to lead him.
We Believe That The church is the body of Christ and that all Christians are members of it.
We Believe That Jesus will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.
